Creve Coeur Days Carnival, May 15, 2007
A couple weeks ago, my mom and I took my kids to the Creve Coeur Days Carnival. Corinne mostly sat in her stroller and watched but, predictably, Donovan wanted to be everywhere at once. First we rode the ferris wheel. Then, both of my kids and I slid down the fun slide – check out the closeup to see the trepidation in Corinne’s eyes while Donovan laughs. Finally, for Donovan and I the highlight was riding the “Pharoah’s Curse”, which is similar to the Buccaneer at Six Flags. This truly made my head rush, so I can only imagine how the experience was to Donovan. When we got off he immediately wanted to ride again. However, this time the guy measured his height and he was in fact slightly too short to ride. Thus began Donovan’s meltdown and we had to leave.
