I believe this was the night of Nick’s 18th birthday party in Bill’s parents’ basement.

Those are some great shots Shag!!!
So Cleez and I are e-mailing a bit today and he says, “Have you read Shag’s blog,” I said “Not for a week or so.” Cleez said, “You should,” so I do, and the first thing I see is my vintage You Suck t-shirt and that awful pose. What a riot!!But I’m going to shake my head in so much I’ll get progressive whiplash. Porter and Jessie will be incontinent when they are old enough to be embarassed by me.
All the pictures are stellar, I really like seeing the picture from 1990, next to 2000, and then 2002. That shot of my hair (hair! hair! hair!) from the Schnucks set may be the best one from that time frame. I love the picture of us waiting for Vallejo. That was a good weekend.
I can never see my wedding picture too many times.
As for the dates of the pictures from the station, the 3rd and 4th are from November 22, 2000 (day before Thanksgiving), and the first and second are most likely from September 13, 2000. I’ll spare you how I came up with that.

Glad you like ‘em! As you can see I added a few more recent photos from my digital archive – after all I have to represent Nick the Complete Man, spanning the Drug-Addled Miscreant days of the 90’s up through the Responsible Husband and Parent that you are now. (He’s a complicated man, no one understands him but his woman.)
All four pictures in the KDHX studio were taken at the same time, the morning Alex was there with us, so I’ll assume then that the date for all four is 11/22/2000.

Man, I don’t think I’ve ever seen that picture from Bill’s basement. I don’t even remember being there. If that really was Nick’s 18th birthday…I would have been 16…hmm, I bet I blocked that from my memory. That explains it. Either that, or creeping dementia. And wouldn’t “Creeping Dementia” be a good name for a band?
